PJC Group Managing Director Peter Costa holds a Mine Managers Qualification. During his 39+  year career he has been a practicing Mine Manager and a Projects Manager on both mining and construction projects. His extensive experience has brought a stable foundation to PJC Group.

Peter directly holds various qualifications and skills in both the mining and civil areas, which include:

During Peters’ career he has been involved in quarrying, mining, tunnelling/shaft works, earthworks, engineering design, construction and demolition related works.

In the mining sector Peter has a broad range of experience; from innovative conceptual planning and implementation at green field sites, major mine scheduling of critical equipment within tight parameters, through to sensitive rehabilitation and mine closure projects with internal and external stakeholders.

Outside the mining industry in the construction area Peter has been involved in all areas from the ground up, including drainage, concrete construction building construction, demolition and rehabilitation works.

In addition Peter has Project Managed Tunnelling & Cut and Cover Works at HomebushBay in preparation for the 2000 Olympics. This project combined both mining and civil construction components to deliver a railway tunnel and cut, and covered rail loop as well as the associated hydraulics works.
